The Terps Competitive Cheerleader Experience

At Terps Youth Sports, we elevate the competitive cheerleading experience by creating an encouraging yet competitive environment. Our focus extends beyond performing cheers to building a supportive space where athletes thrive both on and off the field.

Our program is more than choreography; it’s about cultivating a love for the sport and strengthening bonds among teammates. We prioritize community, unity, and family-centered values within the world of athletics.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2026 - Football & Cheer

The Olney Terps will offer scholarships to families that qualify for the MCPS Free/Reduced Lunch program or equivalent in private schools. The Olney Terps requires that a copy of the yearly approval letter be provided to the Terps Youth Sports office annually. These approval letters are typically sent out in late August to families and are current for the upcoming school year. For Terps Youth Sports, that approval will be accepted for the fall and winter seasons of one calendar year and the spring season the following calendar year (one school year).

This scholarship will require a once per season payment per family. Children are limited to one sport per season, but they may participate in any or all of our three seasons (spring, fall, winter). The reduced fee cost is $75. There are no scholarships available for Travel sports or camps. Scholarships will be approved by the Board of Directors, and approval means having a current MCPS Form 240-31 (or equivalent) and payment of the seasonal fee.

FOR THE 2026 SEASON, WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR 2025 MCPS FORM 240-31
